Stephan Lampl, inventor and founder of edelweiss dentistry, received his license in dental technique (CDT) at the Dental Technology School in Vienna in Austria in 1989. He received his master’s degree from the Académie d’Art Dentaire in Geneva in Switzerland in 1991. From there, Lampl headed to the University of the Western Cape in Cape Town, South Africa, to complete his bachelor of dental surgery (BDS) degree in 1996. In 2001, he became a master clinician in restorative dentistry at Prof. Didier Dietschi’s Geneva Smile Center. And in 2009, he became a master clinician in aesthetic dentistry at the UCLA School of Dentistry in Los Angeles in the US.
