Dr Ravindra Nanda is professor emeritus at the University of Connecticut in Farmington and affiliated with the ADA Forsyth Institute in Somerville in Massachusetts, both in the US. He has been honoured by a number of societies, including the American Association of Orthodontists, European Orthodontic Society and College of Diplomates of the American Board of Orthodontics. He has more than 300 scientific and clinical papers in major orthodontic journals and has authored and co-authored more than 11 textbooks, the most recent being Principles and Biomechanics of Aligner Treatment Orthodontics (Elsevier, 2021). He is editor-in-chief emeritus of Progress in Orthodontics, which received the highest impact factor of all orthodontic journals in 2023.
