Prof. Andrea Felice Mascolo

Prof. Andrea Felice Mascolo graduated with honours from the University of Genoa and received postgraduate training in oral surgery at the University of Pisa, both in Italy. He has also completed advanced education in implantology, periodontics and facial plastic surgery at leading European institutions. He is academic director of the European Institute for Medical Studies in St. Julian’s in Malta and is full professor of digital dentistry and innovative clinical training at Grigol Robakidze University in Tbilisi in Georgia. Prof. Mascolo is the originator of the reverse evidence-based dentistry framework. His current research explores the integration of evidence-based dentistry, oral–systemic health, artificial intelligence, digital technologies, and translational research to support more reflective clinical decision-making and improve patient care
